PLA
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a biodegradable and bioactive aliphatic polyester derived from renewable biomass. It is one of the most popular bioplastics, used for many applications ranging from plastic toys to functional parts. This material provides adequate strenght whilst having the ability to showcase fine detail.
ABS
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a common thermoplastic well known in the injection molding industry. It is used for applications such as housings for electronics and automotive bumper parts. This material has a lower tensile strenght than PLA but offers more elongation and flexural strenght.
Nylon
Nylon is a versatile and strong 3D printing filament with high temperature resistance. It can be post-processed with tools meant for machining metals. Nylon is very hard and can be painted easily as it can be colored with commonly used, acid-based clothing dyes.
Flexible
Flexible is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer. Flexible is elastic, can bend without breaking, and is resistant to various chemicals including gasoline, ethyl alcohol, butane, and carbon monoxide.
PETG
PETG filament combines glycol with standard PET material to eliminate brittleness. This improves the durability and tensile strength. Itís resistant to oils and greases and doesnít degrade over time whilst being immune to UV light. Use it to test your prototypes in various industrial conditions.
HIPS
HIPS filament is best for 3D printing large models. Its durability makes it perfect for prototyping machines and functional testing. Compared to standard High Impact Polystyrene, HIPS has been modified to provide your 3D prints with unique semi-mat finish.
ESD
ESD filament is particularly useful in electronic industry by giving your models electrostatic discharge protection . Its surface resistivity ranging from 10^6 to 10^9 Ω eliminates the risk of damaging sensitive electronic devices. ESD is perfect for casings of delicate electronic and mechanical components working in adverse industrial environment.
ASA
ASA material is a stable thermoplastic designed to withstand adverse environments extending the life span of your models. The material is highly resistant to changing weather conditions and UV light, which makes it ideal for outdoor applications.
